Why film?
I just wanted to ask this so badly since I saw your blog the first time.
I, myself also use it sometimes. But it seems to me that 35 mm has already lost to digital.
Call me a romantic… but I think it has something to do with the weight of the camera, the non-automated click, and then also not knowing what your photos will look like. I agree that 35mm has lost out to digital, unless you are using a 35mm lomography camera which is trendy (but then you aren’t really using an original medium format lomography camera). When I travel overseas it is close to impossible to find someone who will develop black and white film. I stay in Amsterdam for a couple of months a year and my film has to be sent all the way to Germany for development. I recently started using a DSLR camera, and for me it just doesn’t have the same feeling. Although I will admit that moving from film to digital and back to film does have its benefits.
FANTASTIC series. Love the colours. What film did you use?
